The School
The School is part of the continuum of provision for vulnerable children and young people in this area. It is an alternative to mainstream school and they work together alongside their partner schools to build Learning Plans for children and young people who may be struggling to cope in their current placement. This position is looking for an enthusiastic individual who can support the Maths department to achieve beyond expectations in this core subject.
The Role
This role is for a full time Maths Teacher. As the school holds a very high standard of teaching; a QTS/PGCE will be desirable however good experience is also acceptable. The position is ideal for an established teacher seeking a new role.
This role will involve working with children across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the ability to be able to deal with challenging behaviour and children with SEMH. The position will involve planning and marking responsibilities and liaising with parents on students progress.
Requirements
- Ideally hold a QTS/PGCE certificate (NQTs welcome)
- Live local to or be able to commit to travelling to the Poole area
- Have experience teaching in schools
