Maths Teacher for September start
**MPS/UPS depending upon previous teaching experience
**Teaching students ages ranging 11-16 up to GCSE level
**Must hold QTS or have strong experience - Specialising in Maths
Our client school in The Maidstone area would like to recruit a Maths teacher.
To be considered for this role, the successful Maths teacher must be a result driven/goal orientated teacher that is able to stretch the learning of students no matter what their ability. The appointed Maths teacher will be comfortable teaching students that are aged between 11-16 up to GCSE level and preparing them for upcoming exams over the summer period. The Head of Maths has highlighted that they would like to appoint somebody who can teach Maths in an enthusiastic and engaging manor and is able to inspire learning amongst all pupils.
In the most recent school Ofsted report it was highlighted that achievement in Maths is not as strong as in English but is improving quickly. The successful Maths teacher will receive complete support from Senior Leaders and other teachers within the department. There will be monthly reviews and CPD (Continuous Professional Development) sessions that are aimed at improving teaching as a whole within the Maths department to help push teachers towards 'Outstanding'.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
