Mathematics Teacher Manchester

  • £110 - £165 supply rate

Are you a qualified Mathematics teacher looking for your next post in a Manchester secondary school?

Our client school has an immediate need for a suitably skilled and qualified Mathematics teacher to join them on an initial temporary basis and assume responsibilities as a full class teacher of Mathematics.

* Annual salary - £22,467 - £33,160

* Full time Mathematics teaching post for 12 month fixed term

* Collaborative approach to teaching

Our client school is a large well established secondary in Manchester, which is easily accessed via motor way links and local tram route from Manchester city centre. The school is currently oversubscribed with around 1400 students currently on roll, the vast majority of which come from surrounding areas of Blackley, Crumpsall and Moston. The school was formed when two single sex schools merged to create a centre of excellence and the state of the art educational facility was built with teaching and learning at its forefront. The Mathematics department are looking to build on last years positive results and continue increasing the number of students making above expected progress in Mathematics.

To be considered for this post, you must have a PGCE in Mathematics or a relevant teaching based qualification in Mathematics. Experience teaching Mathematics at GCSE is a necessity as the timetable will involve working with GCSE groups.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
