Are you a maths teacher seeking a new role?

If so, I work closely with a Blackburn based secondary school who are seeking an enthusiastic, hard working maths teacher who is looking for a long term - if not permanent - role, they want somebody who is happy to become fully emersed in school life, attend parents evenings, help with after school clubs and 'get stuck in' within the maths department.

The school is larger than average, ofsted judged 'Good' and the pupils in this school display excellent behaviour. The pupils in this school are very hard working and are excited about learning - however, they need a teacher who can plan innovative and dynamic maths lessons to keep them engaged. The school is located close to the M65 and there is public transport links.

The candidate must be suitably qualified, have experience delivering KS3/4 Maths and have a secondary PGCE. The candidate must be available 5 days a week and must be looking for a long term position but happy to initially work on a supply basis. The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable rates of pay dependant on experience (£100-140 per day)

- Long term position

- Working in an ofsted judged 'Good' School

- Delivering maths to high achieving pupils
