Maths Teacher

Are you a teacher of Maths looking for an introduction to a teaching position within a Bolton based secondary school?

Would you be thrive within an 'Outstanding' graded secondary school that boasts excellent results in Maths?

If so, please see further details below of an exciting position working within one of our partner secondary schools;

  • Maths Teacher - Full-time teaching position
  • Required to start following the Easter holidays
  • Pay in line with your pay scale - MPS/UPS
  • Complete planning and marking responsibilities included for this role
  • Opportunity to for contract extension following initial period

Our client secondary school have a fixed term staffing gap within their Maths department and are in need of a Maths teacher who has high expectations of their pupils and what they can achieve. The school will look to employ the incoming Maths teacher for the remainder of the year in the first instance but will be open to contract extension leading into next year for the right candidate.

The school require the incoming Maths teacher to take full planning and marking responsibilities for their classes and their will be time allocated within the timetable to account for this. It has been highlighted that the school wish to appoint a teacher who sets extremely high standards and is able to deliver well thought out lessons on a regular basis.

Our client school is a Christian faith school and whilst it is not essential to be of Christian faith you must respect the Ethos of the school.

Our client school is located in Farnworth and serves a wide catchment area within and beyond Bolton; it is larger than average and boasts to be in the top 3% schools nationally. The school has strong public transport links and can be easily accessible from surrounding areas; Bolton, Bury, Salford and Wigan.
