Join the Maths department of a large secondary school in Bury, providing support for pupils aged 11-16.

  • Full-time Maths teacher.
  • ASAP start date until the end of the academic year
  • Paid in line with teaching scale - £25,714 - £41,604.
  • Teaching pupils aged 11-16.

The incoming Maths teacher will be teaching across Key Stage 3 and GCSE and will be expected to take on a full timetable. The successful candidate will also be expected to take on full planning and marking responsibilities alongside delivering lessons to meet the needs of learners at varying levels of learning ability. It will also be important to monitor and assess pupils’ progress and be able to report this back to the Maths department should it require further discussion.

Our client school is in Bury and can be accessed via the M62, M66 and A56 from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester including Bolton, Rochdale, and Whitefield. For candidates who do not drive, the school is also easily accessible via public transport from the neighbouring areas including Prestwich, Heywood, and Radcliffe.

To be considered for this position, the incoming teacher must have:

  • QTS
  • Experience teaching Maths to GCSE level

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
