Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a Maths teacher on behalf of our client school located in Bolton.

Due to a member of staff relocating at the end of this academic year, this highly regarded secondary school have a rare opportunity for a Maths teacher to join their department on a permanent basis.

  • Full time Maths teacher required from September 2018 (Permanent)
  • Ofsted graded good mixed comprehensive located on the outskirts of Bolton town centre
  • Leading a timetable consisting of both KS3 and GCSE Maths
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS (£22,917 - £38,633)

This is a well established Secondary school in the heart of Bolton town centre have a need for a energetic and forward thinking Maths teacher ahead of the new academic year. This is a permanent position whereby the incoming Maths teacher will be joining a well facilitated Maths department who achieve results well above the national average.

For those with their own transport, the school is just a short drive from the M61 making the surrounding areas; Rochdale, Oldham, Prestwich, Bury and Chorley easily commutable. Ofsted describe students to have 'good behaviour and highly positive attitudes which makes the school a safe, friendly and harmonious place.'

The school serves a diverse catchment area, and the ethos is based upon encouraging pupils to grow academically, socially and spiritually. The school currently meets the government floor standards for expected progress and attainment. Further to this, the school has recently progressed through a transitional period whereby there is a new Head appointment ahead of September.

This is an excellent opportunity for any Maths teachers looking to secure a position from September in a high achieving faculty. The Head of Mathematics wishes to meet interested teachers at the earliest convenience prior to the summer break.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
