Join an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school with a commitment to staff development. This opportunity is ideal for any teaching staff looking to secure a permanent position in the future.

  • Full-time Maths teacher.
  • Secondary school in Bury.
  • Required from April 2021 on an ongoing basis.
  • Teaching a full tuition timetable across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
  • Full planning and marking responsibilities.
  • Competitive hourly pay rate.

Due to the current circumstances, our client secondary school in Bury is looking for a dynamic teacher to plan and deliver differentiated Maths sessions to meet the needs of pupils at varying levels of learning ability. To be considered for this position, you must have QTS or NQT status and have experience teaching Maths up to GCSE level. You will be tutoring students in groups of 3 and will be given a full timetable.

The school is situated within Bury and has approximately 1000 pupils on roll. The school has been noted for its recent track record of improving results and the strong support it provides for staff to utilise the most effective teaching methods.

The school can be accessed via the M66/A56 from surrounding areas such as Bolton, Rochdale and central Manchester. For non drivers, the school is easily accessible via public transport links from neighbouring areas such as Prestwich, Farnworth and Whitefield.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
