Job description

Maths Teacher (Secondary)

Teaching Personnel is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to work within Secondary Schools across York. We are looking for both full-time and part-time teachers who are available to start ASAP. These temporary positions offer a competitive daily rate of £120 – £160 per day, paid weekly on a PAYE basis.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Maths at Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential).
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the secondary Maths curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A clear DBS check (or willingness to apply for one). If you don’t have a DBS, we can support with this.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
