Teacher of Mathematics – Full-Time Permanent Role

Yeovil, Somerset
Start Date: September 2026
Permanent | Full-Time

A fantastic opportunity is available for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics to join a thriving secondary school in Yeovil from September 2026.

The school is looking for an inspiring educator who can foster a love of learning and help students achieve strong outcomes in Mathematics. Applications are encouraged from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) seeking to develop their skills within a supportive and ambitious school setting.

About the Role

  • Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Deliver engaging lessons that challenge and motivate students
  • Track and support pupil progress to maximise achievement
  • Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development
  • Promote a positive and productive classroom environment

The Successful Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • A sound understanding of the secondary Mathematics curriculum
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to engage learners with a range of abilities and backgrounds
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
