Salary: MPS/UPS, dependent on experience

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about helping students develop their mathematical knowledge, confidence and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will join a supportive department and play an important role in helping students achieve their full potential.
The Role
The successful Maths Teacher will be responsible for:

Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students are encouraged to succeed.

Differentiating lessons effectively to meet the needs of students of varying abilities.

Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback.
-
Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, achievement and participation.

Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Maths department and wider school.
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for someone who has:

QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
-
Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting.
-
Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4.
-
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
-
A positive, enthusiastic and engaging approach to teaching.

A genuine commitment to supporting students' academic and personal development.
-
A strong understanding of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
