Maths Teacher

A school in South Manchester is looking for a Maths Teacher to join the teaching staff on a temporary basis.

Requirements for this role are as follows:

• QTS.
• A degree (preferably in Maths or a related subject)
• Experience in the delivery of Maths lessons up to GCSE.

Expectations of the required individual are as follows:

• Delivering high quality lessons up to GCSE level (there may be an expectation to also work with A-Level students)
• Managing and catering for the individual needs of students, including those with specific SEN needs. 
• Providing regular updates related student attainment and overall academic performance. 
• Working with support staff to offer additional provision for students who may need extra support.
• Being receptive to potential problems, ,and being able to deal with these in a calm and appropriate manner. 
• Understanding the common intricacies associated with Mathematics as a subject. 

The school:

• Located in South Manchester, not far from the city centre.
• There are multiple public transport links located within close proximity. 
• Motorways also located close by.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
