Maths Teacher
Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a teacher of Maths to join one of our thriving secondary schools in the Sunderland area from September 2023.
Applications are sought from an inspirational secondary school Maths teacher to join an innovative department within a highly successful, supportive, and dynamic school. The school is considered as ‘good’ by Ofsted and students from this school are found to be highly engaged in their learning. The secondary school is located within the Sunderland area and is easily accessible via car as well as by a number of public transport links.
- Full-time Maths teacher
- Required from September 2023 - Christmas 2023 (with potential for extension)
- Paid in line with teaching scale - £28,000-£43,685
- Teaching pupils aged 11-16 (KS3 and KS4 level)
The school wish to appoint a well-qualified, hardworking, dynamic, innovative, and inspirational teacher of Mathematics. The successful candidate will consistently plan and deliver lessons that inspire, engage, and challenge every student enabling them to be enthusiastic about their learning and to make excellent progress in their studies. The school are seeking a specialist who are considerate of different ability levels of students to ensure that all their students are provided the opportunity to develop their skills.
To be considered for this position, the incoming teacher must have:
- Current address in the UK with right-to-work in the UK
- UK Recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Maths to GCSE level
- Child workforce only DBS (we can help you apply)
- Appropriate references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
