Maths Teacher – Sheffield
Location: Sheffield
Agency: Teaching Personnel
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting dedicated and skilled Maths Teachers to work across a range of secondary schools in the Sheffield area. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an ECT, we have flexible roles to suit your career goals.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable)
  • Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with the national curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
  • Monitor student progress and provide targeted support where needed
  • Contribute to the wider school community and uphold school policies

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Specialism in Mathematics or a related subject
  • Strong classroom management skills and a passion for teaching
  • Ability to differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
