Maths Teacher - Secondary Schools | Salford, Bolton & Bury

Inspire the next generation of mathematicians across Greater Manchester.

We are working with a range of welcoming and high-performing secondary schools across Salford, Bolton, and Bury who are seeking passionate and dedicated Maths Teachers to join their teams. Opportunities are available for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) on a temporary, permanent, full-time, or part-time basis.

The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Support students in achieving their academic potential.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and departmental development.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • A passion for education and student achievement.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
