Exciting opportunity for ambitious practitioner looking to join reputable school.

As this post has arisen during a time of uncertainty, the school are keen to initially start the post on a temporary introduction with the successful teacher being given the opportunity to join on a contracted basis thereafter.

  • Full time Maths teaching post, Easter 2021 start
  • Earn in line with your teaching scale point (MPS/UPS)
  • Modern secondary school with good facilities throughout
  • Teaching Mathematics at KS3/4

Our client school is a modern secondary, situated just north of the town centre with good accessibility to both the M60 ring road and M62 motorway. Since moving to a purpose built setting in 2010, the school has gone from strength to strength across a number of key factors including attendance, attainment and progress which can be accredited to good leadership at all levels of the school. The successful Maths teacher will join an effectively ran department which regular leads the school in end of year results.

They will benefit from a close-knit unit who approach teaching and learning collaboratively to ensure the whole cohort benefit from excellent schemes of work. The incoming Maths teacher will need to be a team player who is committed to pushing students to strive towards their best” Deputy Headteacher

Maths teacher wishing to apply must hold experience teaching Mathematics at KS3/4 and a relevant teaching based qualification.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
