Job Duties:
The Maths Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality math lessons to students, engaging and inspiring them in the subject. They will create a positive learning environment, assess student progress, and provide feedback to support their development.
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Mathematics or Education.
Education:
A degree in Mathematics or Education is required for this role.
Experience:
Prior experience in teaching mathematics at the secondary level is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Mathematics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and student behaviour
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent is desirable.
Working Conditions:
The Maths Teacher will work in a school setting, following the academic calendar. They may be required to participate in extracurricular activities or parent meetings outside of regular school hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
