Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Maths Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, differentiated for a range of abilities

Inspire students to develop confidence, curiosity, and enjoyment in mathematics
-
Take full responsibility for planning, preparation, and assessment in line with curriculum requirements
-
Contribute to the development of schemes of learning and share best practice within a supportive Maths department
-
Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture where high expectations and respect are at the forefront
-
Use effective behaviour management strategies to support a focused learning environment
-
Support students’ progress and development, including preparation for GCSE examinations
What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-
Experience teaching Maths within a UK school setting
-
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for mathematics
-
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
-
Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to the wider school community
-
Commitment to ongoing professional development
-

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
