This role offers full-time or part-time options, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Maths Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, differentiated for a range of abilities

  • Inspire students to develop confidence, curiosity, and enjoyment in mathematics

  • Take full responsibility for planning, preparation, and assessment in line with curriculum requirements

  • Contribute to the development of schemes of learning and share best practice within a supportive Maths department

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture where high expectations and respect are at the forefront

  • Use effective behaviour management strategies to support a focused learning environment

  • Support students’ progress and development, including preparation for GCSE examinations


What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching Maths within a UK school setting

  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for mathematics

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to the wider school community

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development

  • ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply – full induction and mentoring support will be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
