Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? Do you have experience working with children who have speech and language barriers? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Crownhill. This is a full-time, long-term role starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to a KS1 child with speech and language barriers.
  • Implement individualized learning plans to support the child's progress.
  • Utilize your understanding of early phonics to facilitate language development.
  • Offer play-based interventions and sensory support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting children with speech and language barriers.
  • Strong understanding of early phonics.
  • Background in EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) is advantageous.
  • Experience with play-based intervention and sensory support is desirable.
