Mathematics teacher required for school with 'outstanding' progress

  • Ofsted graded ‘Good’
  • Full time position from January 2017
  • £22,244- £37,871(MPS/UPS)

Our client school located in the Nottingham area seek to appoint a Maths teacher to start as soon as possible. This is a full time position whereby the successful applicant will have the opportunity to gain a permanent position.

- Full time position immediately

- High achieving Maths department, all groups of students make at least good, and often outstanding, progress from their starting points in Year 7

- Ofsted graded ‘Good’

- £22,244- £37,871(MPS/UPS)

Due to a member of staff gaining promotion, this excellent school located on the outskirts of Nottinghamshire seek to appoint a Maths teacher and are willing to consider FQTs or NQTs.

This post requires a Maths teacher who can match the high expectations of the school and become a committed member of this high achieving and consistently improving department. The head of department seeks to appoint a Maths teacher who can consistently provide ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ practice to impact the progress of pupils of all abilities. If you are a NQT, they are willing to support your development if you are prepared to show your commitment to the school. You will be given your own well resourced classroom boasting interactive whiteboards which are well kept and respected by pupils.

The school is average in size with around 1000 pupils on roll. The vast majority of children are of white British heritage and the number of pupils with learning difficulties or a statement for special needs is below the national average.
