Job description

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established secondary school in Loughborough to recruit a qualified Maths Teacher for a full-time position starting in the new academic year.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join a supportive Maths department and make a positive impact on student achievement across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports all learners.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and department.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Has experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 level.
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management skills.
  • Is passionate about inspiring young people and raising attainment.
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
