Fully Qualified Maths Teacher (QTS)

Location: Secondary Schools across Liverpool
Employer: Teaching Personnel
Contract: Full-time, ongoing
Start date: ASAP

About the Role

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and confident Fully Qualified Maths Teacher (FQT) to join one of our partnering secondary schools. This is a full-time position teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, starting as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic educator who can deliver engaging, high‑quality Maths lessons and support pupils of varying abilities to achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative, differentiated Maths lessons across KS3–KS4
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and create a positive learning environment
  • Assess and track pupil progress, providing feedback and support
  • Work collaboratively with the department and wider school team
  • Contribute to the academic and personal development of all learners

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)essential
  • Strong subject knowledge in Maths
  • Proven experience teaching in a secondary school setting
  • Ability to work confidently and independently from day one
  • Commitment to full-time work
  • Experience supporting SEN studentshighly desirable
