Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Maths Teacher (KS3) with QTS to join a specialist setting supporting pupils aged 7–18.

This full-time role offers an immediate start and the chance to make a real difference through tailored, engaging maths teaching.

You will be working with pupils who have:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)

  • ADHD

  • Communication and interaction difficulties

  • Social, emotional and sensory needs

 

 

About the Setting

  • Purpose-built specialist environment in a peaceful location

  • Small class sizes (typically 2–6 pupils) for highly personalised learning

  • Strong focus on independence, confidence and life skills

  • Support from skilled teaching assistants and in-house therapists

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver creative and differentiated Maths lessons at KS3 level

  • Adapt teaching to meet a range of SEN needs and learning styles

  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate assessment records

  • Support pupils in achieving EHCP targets

  • Work collaboratively with families and a multi-disciplinary team

 

 

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching Maths at KS3 level

  • Understanding of SEN, particularly autism and ADHD

  • Patient, adaptable and engaging teaching approach

  • Committed to safeguarding and inclusive education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
