Maths Teacher- Full Time- January 2026- B46
The team at Teaching Personnel Birmingham are seeking a qualified and passionate teacher of maths to join a dynamic maths department in a thriving secondary school based in the B46 area of Warwickshire.
This role is a full time role that commences in January, there is a potential for a permanent role for the suitable candidate.

Hours: Full time, Mon-Fri (Term time only)
Rate of Pay: To scale (MPS/UPS)
Start Date: January 2026
Role Qualification:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Maths within a UK based secondary school
- Recent relevant experience and a brilliant track record within the UK
- Excellent school-based references
- Well-rounded knowledge of the UK national curriculum for maths
- Excellent understanding of how to scaffold learning and break down difficult mathematical theories and equations for ease of understanding
- Strong classroom presence and confident behaviour management techniques
Job Role/Responsibilities:
- Deliver excellent, engaging maths lessons in line with the national curriculum, which allow pupils of all abilities to understand
- Plan lessons that differentiate the various learning styles and capabilities within each class
- Work alongside and utilise support staff to ensure pupils with SEN or that are lower attaining, can still access as much learning as possible
- Communicate and collaborate well with colleagues within the maths department
- Assess pupils' progress on a regular basis through various forms of assessment
-Provide regular and informative feedback to all pupils to help support with their learning and development
- Contribute to wider school community and extra curricular activities where possible

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
