Maths Teacher

Location: Christchurch, Dorset
Start Date: April 2026

A welcoming and well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Christchurch is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher on a full-time basis from April 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate practitioner to join a supportive and forward-thinking Maths department that is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4, inspiring students to develop confidence, resilience, and a genuine enjoyment of the subject.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

• Have experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 (ECTs are welcome to apply)

• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills

• Be committed to raising attainment and supporting pupils of all abilities

• Work collaboratively as part of a positive and supportive department

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
