Teacher of Maths (Full Time)


Start Date: September 2026
Contract: 1 Year Fixed Term (Maternity Cover)

 

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a successful and well-established secondary school in the Chichester area to appoint a dedicated and ambitious Teacher of Maths to join their team on a full-time maternity cover basis from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking and supportive school environment, where high standards of teaching and learning are combined with a strong pastoral ethos and a commitment to student success. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons across Key Stages, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure all students receive a high-quality learning experience. You will play a key role in supporting progress and attainment while contributing to a strong team ethos within the department.

 

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
  • Ability to deliver consistently high-quality teaching and learning
  • A commitment to raising standards and improving outcomes for all students
  • High expectations of students’ behaviour and achievement
  • Capability to share best practice and support colleagues within the department
  • Potential to develop leadership skills within a supportive environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
