Teaching Personnel is recruiting Secondary School Maths Teachers to teach Mathematics at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) across a wide range of secondary schools in Bath and the surrounding area. These Maths teacher jobs include both short-term supply and long-term roles, offering flexibility alongside opportunities for career progression.
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Secondary Maths Teacher with strong subject knowledge and a commitment to delivering high-quality Maths education. This role is ideal for a teacher who is enthusiastic about Maths and dedicated to improving student confidence, progress, and attainment.
Role Responsibilities – Secondary Maths Teacher:

Teach Maths at KS3 and KS4 in secondary schools

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons

Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour

Assess, track, and support pupil progress in Maths

Develop students’ problem-solving, numeracy, and analytical skills
Person Specification:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification
-
Experience teaching Maths in secondary education
-
Confident classroom presence with effective behaviour management

A genuine passion for Maths and teaching the subject

Commitment to raising attainment for all learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
