Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths teacher looking for your next role? Teaching Personnel is working with a secondary school in the Axminster area to recruit an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students and make a real impact within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.

About the Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5), helping students to build confidence and achieve their full potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality Maths lessons
  • Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all students
  • Assessing, tracking and reporting on student progress
  • Preparing students for GCSE examinations
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school and department

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Has experience teaching Maths at secondary level
  • Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics
  • Can motivate and engage students of all abilities
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
  • Is committed, reliable and a strong team player

This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
