Are you a passionate Maths teacher ready to help students reach their full potential? At TP Tutors, we provide personalised one-to-one and small-group tuition to learners who need extra support to succeed.

We’re looking for dedicated and experienced Maths Teachers to deliver tailored tuition in Arnold and across the wider Nottingham area.


About the Role

This rewarding role offers the chance to support students outside the classroom, delivering engaging Maths tuition in learners’ homes or local community venues.

You’ll plan and teach lessons that meet individual needs, turning challenging topics into opportunities for confidence and success.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality Maths tuition (1:1 or small groups)

  • Adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and abilities

  • Simplify complex topics to build confidence and understanding

  • Provide constructive feedback after each session

  • Follow safeguarding and child protection policies


What We’re Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum

  • Experience supporting students with SEND and/or SEMH needs

  • Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills

  • A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to teaching

  • Up-to-date safeguarding training

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
