Maths Teacher – Secondary School (Accrington, Lancashire)

Full-time | From Monday 13th April 2026
Initially until December 2026 – Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

Are you a passionate Maths Teacher looking for your next rewarding role? A welcoming and high-achieving mainstream secondary school in Accrington, Lancashire is seeking a committed educator to join their Mathematics department from Monday 13th April 2026.

This is a full-time position, initially running until December 2026, with a strong possibility of becoming a temp-to-perm role for the right teacher.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan, prepare and assess in line with curriculum expectations
  • Support pupils of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
  • Work collaboratively with a committed and supportive department
  • Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages learning

About You

The school is looking for a teacher who is:

  • Confident delivering Maths across KS3–KS4
  • A qualified teacher (QTS/ECT/PGCE) or experienced FE Maths specialist
  • Passionate about their subject and dedicated to pupil progress
  • Reliable, enthusiastic and adaptable
  • Open to a potential long-term or permanent opportunity
