Maths teachers and NQTs needed at a school near Barnet

Requirements

  • The incoming candidate must have UK recognised qualifications for this role, ideally teaching qualifications (e.g. BSc, BA, QTS, PGCE)
  • Successful applicant will have good experience teaching Maths in a Secondary school and can teach KS3-5 level classes
  • Alongside the expected planning, preparation and marking, teachers would ideally be willing to run catch up sessions for students who struggle with the material
  • Extra-curricular experience and any work in an SEN department would strengthen a candidates application, tell us any further details

The Role

  • This role is interviewing in the next two weeks, but has a September start date as the school is looking to hire as soon as possible
  • It will be a full time role, however, there are part time vacancies
  • Pay range from £150-£200 depending on experience and qualifications
  • It is a Mathematics teaching role, expect a hard-working attitude and a passion for your subject

The School

  • The school is located in Barnet, 15 minute walk from Mill Hill East station underground
  • Ofsted have rated the school as "good," stating the behaviour and working attitude of the students is a credit to the staff
  • The school have modern facilities assisting children's learning, alongside fully equipped sports facilities allowing students to compete in a sport of their choice
  • The school itself has a friendly atmosphere and base their ethos around an equality, teaching students from a young age the importance of an equal and harmonious community.

This brilliant opportunity has a start date in September for a Long Term role.
