Maths & English Tutor – Birkenhead (CH41)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths and English Tutor to work with students in the Birkenhead (CH41) area. This is a rewarding opportunity to support learners, including those with additional needs, and help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-to-one or small group tuition in Maths and English
• Support students with varying abilities, including those with SEN
• Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs
• Build positive relationships and encourage student engagement
• Monitor and report on student progress

Requirements:

• Experience tutoring or teaching Maths and English
• Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience desirable)
• Strong behaviour management skills
• A patient, supportive, and flexible approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Right to work in the UK

Working Hours:

• Part-time / flexible hours available
• Typically weekdays (Monday to Friday)

Location:

• Birkenhead, CH41 (local travel required)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
