Mathematics Teacher

Skelmersdale highschool.

An oversubscribed secondary school in Skelmersdale is looking to appoint a strong Teacher of Mathematics to join their school after the May half term. The school has approximately 900 pupils on roll, and is commended for excellent behaviour of their pupils. The position is full time and is until the end of the summer term, initially. You will then be required to go back in the new academic year until December. There is a view of this position being extended, deepening on performance in school.

The Maths Department is made up of 9 strong Teachers, including Head of Department, who follow the AQA Exam Syllabus. It is essential you have experience with the AQA Specification. Maths lessons are taught in a suite of 7 classrooms.

NOTE:

You must hold QTS and hold an honours degree in Maths or a Maths related subject.
