Are you a qualified Mathematics teacher wishing to secure a full-time position from January 2019? Do you have previous experience teaching across Key Stage Three - GCSE?

If so, please see the details of the full-time temporary Mathematics teaching position available within our partner Secondary school in Salford.

  • Full-time Mathematics teacher required, January 2019
  • Initially offered on a temporary basis for two terms until the end of the academic year with the view of an extension following the initial period
  • Pay in line with teaching scale point (MPS/UPS - £23,720 - £39,406 per annum)
  • Both experienced and newly qualified Mathematics teachers welcome to apply
  • Located in the Swinton area of Salford, accessible via the A580 (East Lancashire Road)

The school wish to appoint a dedicated Mathematics teacher who is passionate about ensuring all pupils can succeed in Mathematics. It is essential that the incoming Mathematics teacher has previous experience planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four and can successfully implement a positive working culture in Mathematics.

The school are welcoming applications from Mathematics teachers of all experience levels, and will provide the relevant support to the successful Mathematics teacher.

The school, located in Swinton has recently been refurbished through the Salford Schools' Development Programme, and due to this, the Mathematics department have access to both open and closed learning spaces. The incoming Mathematics teacher will have the opportunity to teach interactive lessons within the open learning spaces, with access to state of the art technology.

Located towards the north of central Salford, our partner Secondary school can easily be reached via the A580 (East Lancashire Road). For non-drivers, there are a number of public transportation links that lead directly to the school from neighbouring areas Leigh, Bolton and central Manchester.
