Maths Teacher – Cardiff Secondary School
Start Date: 23rd February 2026 | End Date: 17th July 2026
Location: Cardiff CF5
Pay: £172.98 per day PAYEE
Are you passionate about inspiring young minds and bringing Maths to life? A vibrant secondary school in Cardiff is looking for a dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team for the remainder of the academic year.
Role and Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Maths lessons for secondary school students

Inspire students to develop a love for Maths and achieve their full potential
-
Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback
-
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
-
Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching resources
-
Support school initiatives and contribute to extra-curricular activities where appropriate
-
Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and school staff regarding student progress
Requirements:

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply – support provided)

EWC registration (guidance provided)
-
Two professional references
-
Ability to travel within the Cardiff area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
