Job description

Are you an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Maths teacher who believes in the power of education to change lives?  Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and committed Mathematics Teacher to join our dynamic team and help inspire the next generation of problem-solvers and critical thinkers within a successful school in South Bristol.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
  • Inspire students to develop confidence and curiosity in mathematics
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
  • Participate in the wider life of the school, including pastoral responsibilities and extracurricular activities

The successful educator:

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Has a strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching maths
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
  • Is committed to continuous professional development and collaborative working

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
