Year 2 Teacher

At Teaching Personnel, we are searching for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join the team of Teaching staff at a school we’ve been working closely with. The role is a Year 2 Teacher, therefore a good knowledge of the KS1 curriculum is essential.

The school is a diverse and multicultural space and we’re looking for someone with a passion for promoting the growth of pupils learning and creating a positive and purposeful space for this to take space.

We are happy to accept applications from ECT’s however a requirement would be having had previous experience in the Primary Sector.

The ideal applicant will have a proven record of implementing the national curriculum in an engaging manner.

Role Requirements

  • Must hold Qualified Teaching Status or the equivalent
  • Availability to work full time for a short-term role
  • Strong knowledge of KS1 curriculum
  • Classroom behaviour management skills
  • Hold a valid DBS certificate and if not is willing to apply for this
  • Proven record of encouraging and raising standards with pupils learning
  • Ability to work well alongside various other colleagues
  • Safeguarding knowledge
  • Passion to make a difference in an educational setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
