SEN English Teacher Needed

Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit a fully qualified English teacher who is available full time from September. The position available is in a large secondary SEN school in the outskirts of Oxford which caters for a variety of needs including SEMH, ADHD and Autism.

As a school, their therapists and teachers work together to ensure that students have the best possible experience at the school.

The successful candidate will need to have previous experience teaching the English curriculum up to GCSE level and adapting their lessons to accommodate students of varying abilities. The class sizes range between 6-10 students and they are heavily supported by teaching assistants and learning support assistance. Someone with a calm and nurturing personality whilst also being able to display enthusiasm for their subject would be the ideal person for this role.

Minimum Requirements:
- Any relevant SEN/Autism experience or qualifications is desired, however not essential so please still apply.
- A passion and enthusiasm to see pupils achieve their best potential
- Dedication to the needs of all your pupils, working with other staff members to offer emotional and academic support

- A Child Only DBS on the Update Service, or one done through Teaching Personnel
- Good interpersonal skills and confidence

- Punctual and reliable - Enjoys a challenge
