Literacy Coach

An exciting opportunity for a highly inspirational individual to improve and raise the standards of literacy across a large secondary school.

• Full time Literacy Coach role from September 2020
• Fixed term contract for the full academic year, with the opportunity to move into a more progressive role from 2021
• Earn up to GBP1400 per month (negotiable dependent on experience)
• Short drive from Oldham town centre and the M60 motorway

Working as a Literacy Coach at our partner secondary school in Oldham, the successful candidate will work alongside the English department in raising the standards of literacy across the school. This is a new and exciting role in which the perfect candidate will develop their ideas into strategies in order to help students improve both their spoken and written English.

This role is ideal for any recent graduates looking to take their first steps in education and the school are ideally looking for candidates that have experience of working alongside secondary school aged pupils (11-16) in previous roles.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
