Are you a Teaching Assistant seeking work in a behavioural unit in Leyland?
If so, Teaching Personnel work closely with a Leyland based Secondary School which provides education and support specifically for pupils with behavioural difficulties and SEMH difficulties. The School is smaller than average, providing education currently for around 40 pupils.
The candidate must have strong behaviour management skills and be willing to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils who display very challenging behaviours. The candidate must be available to work full time and be willing to undertake one voluntary day in School.
The role will start as soon as possible and you will be expected to start on a supply basis before being given a contract with the School. The role will require you to work alongside students who display challenging behaviours and assist the teacher with behaviour management and the delivery of lessons.
The successful candidate will benefit from:
* negotiable pay rates £51-61 per day
* long term position available
* rewarding position supporting pupils with SEN
