Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Job description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a confident Level 3 Teaching Assistant to fill a position in an Ofsted “Outstanding” Nursery based in Sandymoor, WA7. We are looking for someone to join them in “providing children with a fun, supportive learning environment”. Located just off the A558 Daresbury Expressway, they are easily accessible with public transport links nearby.
Job Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Location: Runcorn, WA7
Daily Pay Rate: £13.75 - £15.25 / Hour
Shift Patterns: 8am-6pm or 2pm-6pm
Start Date: Immediate start
Contract: Part-Time or Full-Time roles (With a Golden Handshake offer of £100 upon securing a full-time role)
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Level 3 in Childcare or QTS
- Relevant experience working in a childcare setting with Early Years
- An Enhanced Child-only DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Secure knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies (Training available)
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with a dedicated and caring team to consistently create a fun and supportive space for learning
- Encouraging learning through play, and supporting children aged 0-5 in their daily routines
- Encouraging positive behaviour, monitoring child progress and providing feedback to teachers and parents.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
