Level 3 Teaching Assistant (September Start)

Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Start Date: September 2024
Are you a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team in a primary school located in the NG5 area of Nottingham. This role is perfect for someone who is committed to supporting the educational and social development of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the classroom teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help.
- Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) to ensure they reach their full potential.
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a safe and orderly learning space.
- Supporting the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
- Participating in school activities and events as required.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a primary school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
- A positive and proactive approach to supporting students and staff.
- A valid DBS check or willingness to undergo one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
