Level 3- Infant Teaching and learning Assistant

Location: East London

Sector: Primary

Job Type: Full Time- Permanent

Salary: pay to scale (dependent on experience)

A Diverse and Inclusive school located in East London is seeking a compassionate, curious and courageous Level 3-Infant teaching and learing assistant to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals seeking to expand their career in education, offering first-hand classroom experience and a chance to make a real impact on student’s learning and development.

About the role:

As a Infant teaching and learning assistant, you will:

  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons.
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support, particularly for students with any additional needs.
  • Help students achieve their learning and personal development goals.
  • Support students during break and lunch times.

What we are looking for:

  • A ‘full and relevant’ EYFS qualification at Level 3or above.
  • previous experience working with children or in a school environment.
  • A good understanding of early child development.
  • A passion for working with children, including those with Special Educational Needs.
  • Follow safeguarding protocols and prioritise student safety.

  • Two recent references (covering the past 24 months)
  • Overseas Police Check (if applicable – for candidates who have lived outside the UK for 3+ months in the past 5 years)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
