Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant - Primary
Location: Truro, Cornwall
Role Type: Flexible supply with temp-to-perm potential
Pay: £89.38-£95 per day
Are you someone who enjoys working with children and making a real difference each day? Teaching personnel are currently looking for flexible, EYFS teaching assistants to work across primary schools in Truro and the surrounding areas on a supply basis with possibility for long term.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in different Early Years environments, support young learners during their crucial developmental stages, and be part of a supportive supply network.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom duties
- Working one to one or in small groups with pupils
- Helping children access learning and feel confident in class
- Supporting with classroom organisation, resource preparation, and tidying
✅ What We’re Looking For
- A Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Early Years / Childcare
- Experience working with children aged 3–5 in a school or nursery setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Adaptability and a willingness to learn
- A nurturing, proactive, and adaptable approach to classroom support
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
