Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant 

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a specialist SEN School to recruit a Level 2 TA on a temp to perm basis. This is a fulltime role, ideal for someone passionate about supporting children and young people with SEN; including autism, SEMH, and complex needs, within a structured and supportive setting.

Role details:

• Position: Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant

• Type: Temp to Perm

• Hours: Full time, 8:30am – 4:30pm (Monday to Friday)

• Start: ASAP / flexible

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis

• Assisting with learning, behaviour, and emotional regulation

• Working closely with teachers and multidisciplinary teams

• Helping to create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience)

• Previous experience working with SEN pupils

• A patient, resilient, and caring approach

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
