Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant – Temp to Perm
Full-time | 8:30am – 4:30pm

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a specialist SEN setting in the Leyland area to recruit a committed Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs, including ASD, SEMH and associated learning difficulties. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff and support teams to provide consistent, nurturing and structured support throughout the school day.
Key responsibilities include:

Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups

Assisting with learning activities tailored to individual EHCPs
-
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
-
Supporting pupils with personal, social and emotional development
-
Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists and support staff
-
Maintaining a safe, structured and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
-
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

Experience working with children or young people with SEN
-
A calm, patient and resilient approach
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
