Learning Support Assistants 

Maidenhead (SL6)

Full Time

Starting After October Half Term

Salary - Competitve (depends on training, qualifications and background)

Teaching Personnel have been working in partnership with a provision l in Maidenhead who are expanding due to an increase in pupil referrals.  They are looking to take on numerous Learning Support Assistants to work with either Primary or Secondary students with additional needs. The role would entail working with students one to one who will have Autism, Speech Language Communication Needs and Global Developmental Delay. 

Successful candidates

Avaliable and commited to work full time (8.30am -16.30pm Monday to Friday)

Happy to take on additional training related to Autism and SEND

Experience working with children and/or adults with Special Educational Needs (Youth Work, Social Care, Teaching Assistant, Carer, Support Worker, Nursery Practitioner)

Qualified to GCSE level with passes in Maths, English and Science

Commited to a career in Education

You must be a creative and caring individual that is willing to go above and beyond for the students

Responsibilities:

Supporting the main Teacher in a range of activities

Working with students 1:1 or in small groups

Helping to engage pupils in their intervention plans

Monitoring students progress across different areas of development

Communicating with professional to further aid student development

Safeguarding pupils

Supporting academic, social and emotional development

This school will offer fantastic training to all new starters regardless of background and skill set. You will have a supervisor who will guide your training to allow you to pass and become the best support possible for students to achieve their full potential. The aim of the school is to give all students the ability to move on to attend college, start apprenticeships or enter the world of work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
