Learning Support Assistant (Derby)
A secondary school located on the west side of Derby are looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) starting in September. The school is ideally looking to take on a Learning Support Assistant who has previous experience in supporting within a secondary school setting.
The successful Learning Support Assistant will be supporting students in year 7 - 11 within the mainstream classes. This school is known for its academic nature and are therefore looking for a confident, adaptable and motivated graduate who has experience in supporting secondary aged students in a previous setting.
Key aspects of the LSA role:
- Full time Learning Support Assistant required: former experience within a school environment ideal
- Pay range dependent upon experience and qualification: up to £1400 per month
- Experience with EHCP's (desirable)
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (desirable)
- 1 term fixed requirement in the first instance with opportunity to progress onto a school based contract
The school have advised that they are looking for a Learning Support Assistant on a full time basis who is available 5 days per week starting in September. Ideally starting at the beginning of September any Learning Mentors, present Learning Support Assistants or Teaching Assistants are encouraged to apply now for immediate consideration
