Learning Support Assistant

We are currently seeking a full time Learning support Assistant to work within a specialist school and class. You will be required to work on a full time basis, Monday – Friday (8:30am – 3:30pm). The ideal candidate will be able to:

• Support children with complex needs such as Autism

• Use alternative communication methods such as PECs and Makaton

• Provide personal care

• Use sensory methods to engage with students

To apply, you need to either hold a Teaching Assistant qualification or have relevant SEN experience within the last year.

All candidates who register with Teaching Personnel will be required to have an enhanced CHILD ONLY DBS which is on the update service. All candidates are required to complete a Safeguarding course, or provide a certificate dated within the last three years. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
