Teaching Personnel are working with a school based in Penzance who are seeking a strong and experienced LSA that has previously worked within an EBD setting.

The role will be working 1:1 with a student with EBD, within a mainstream Primary School.

This is an EBD Learning Support Assistant role that will start in February on a long term basis.

This role is ideal for an experienced LSA (learning Support Assistant) who has the experience of working within a special or mainstream school. As you will be working with very challenging students you will possess outstanding inter-personal skills, be sensitive towards the students needs with a determination to nurture enjoyment and success for the students whilst expanding their education horizons.

Additional training such as Team Teach (restraints and de-escalation) and Autism Awareness can be offered, via Teaching Personnel’s CPD Academy.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role and will suit the right person with the right temperament and skill in handling EBD students.
